Stem
Start with brown yarn
Slip knot, 10 Ch.
R 1: sc in second chain from hook, sc in next 10 stitches.
FO. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Start with green yarn
Crochet 7 chain. Continue working around the foundation chain
R 1: In the next stitch, beginning from the 2nd st from your hook, crochet (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc). Continue crocheting the other side of the foundation chain (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc).
FO. Stuff with fiberfill. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly:
- Attach the stem and leaf to the apple
- Sew with a tapestry needle to close up the bottom opening of the apple.
