Abbreviations:

R = round

mr = magic ring

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (2 sc in the next stitch)

W = increase (3 sc in the next stitch)

dec = decrease (join the next 2 stitches into 1)

sl st = slip stitch

st = stitch

ch = chain

FO = Fasten off/finish off

FLO = Front loops only

BLO = Back loops only

[ ] = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row

( ) x 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

To crochet an amigurumi little frog, you need:

– Yarn (2.5mm): green, light yellow, light green, black

– Size of eyes: 8mm

– Fiberfill for stuffing

– Sewing needle and scissors

Start with pink yarn

R 1: 19 ch, start 2nd chain from hook make: (1 sc, 2 hdc, slst, 1 hdc, 2 dc in st, hdc, 4 hdc, hdc, 2 dc in st, hdc, slst, 2 hdc, 1 sc)

R 2: Turn, 30 ch, 19 slst, 30 ch

Fasten off.  Stuff with fiberfill. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
